Abstract: We describe GLIF3, which is the the third version of GLIF, which extends the second version of GLIF, published in 1998. We also discuss the Workshop that was hosted by InterMed in March 2000, entitled "Towards A Representation for Sharable Guidelines". The workshop dealt with defining the functional requirements of a sharable guideline representation format and the tool support needed.
